10 Bloggers to follow if you want to become a better online marketer
The best way to get noticed in the online world is to get involved. Read lots of blogs in your industry, start conversations through comments on those blogs, and link to great articles from your own blog. You can find great blogs in many places on the web, but I offer you a short cut. Subscribe to the following blogs and you will learn a whole lot about the online marketing world:

1. ProBlogger – Darren Rowse has been a full-time blogger for years now and understands how to gain attention online. He has great tips on marketing yourself and also has solid guest bloggers with helpful advice.
2. Online Marketing Blog – Deemed the best online marketing blog by Technorati, this site is a collection of bloggers with an incredible amount of information. Focusing heavily on SEO and social media, this blog by itself will teach you most of what you want to know.
3. CopyBlogger – This is a particularly good blog to follow if you need writing tips. The theme of the website is basically ‘how to be a good blog writer’ which is a severely important part of online marketing. If you want your blog to have a following, learn a thing or two from CopyBlogger.
4. Kherize5 – One of the best writers I have seen online, Suzanne Vara from Kherize5 gives advice on all aspects of online marketing. With vast experience in search engines, blogging, and social networks, she is a reliable resource for helpful content. Probably her best attribute is the ability to sum up tips into easy, logical, lists (like this one!).
5. Quick Sprout – Neil Patel of QuickSprout is a successful internet entrepreneur and widely respected blogger. From an early age he has been creating a brand for himself online, and he shares his mistakes and successes with readers. It seems like every post he writes is incredibly relevant to me and my business.
6. SEOmoz – This is not just a blog, but an entire community of marketers helping each other learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Many great bloggers, engaged readers, and a marketplace for services in case you need help. It’s nice to have a site that has such a tight focus.
7. Seth’s Blog – Considered one of the greatest marketing minds right now. He is an accomplished author of quite of few books, Purple Cow being my favorite. His posts are short, insightful, and always valuable. I don’t know any marketers that don’t follow Seth Godin.
8. ViperChill- I haven’t been following this one for long, but it seems pretty remarkable. This guy is only 20 and is making some serious impact already. What matters most to me though is that he seems genuinely interested in helping his readers become better at what they do.
9. Mashable – One of the most popular blogs in the world, this is a great community to get involved in if you want to become a social media expert. Mashable consists of an army of great writers and the content is incredibly fresh. This is where you go to find out the latest news on the web concerning technology and social media.
10. Chris Brogan – Brogan is one of those guys that has been using social media since the beginning. He has an extraordinary online reach and is willing to share his knowledge. It’s good to listen to people like this. It just makes sense.

Haha I had a private detective do some investigating, and he took that photo as well.
Thanks for the new blogs, I just subscribed to both.
A few of these I’ve not read before. Very nice list. What do you read for fun (besides ESPN)?
