About

The purpose of this blog is to teach you how to start a company in the Internet Marketing Age without spending cash that you don’t have.  As you probably know by now, there is an endless list of issues to tackle when managing your own start-up.  I, like you, am learning lessons the hard way by jumping in headfirst and making tons of mistakes.  This blog acts as a hub for us to communicate with each other and share what we’ve learned from this intimidating but strangely fun process.  Topics on this site cover monumental debates such as the power of new school vs. old school marketing, but also cover day-to-day operational lessons such as the most efficient way to set up your desktop.

If you are a veteran in start-ups and think you know it all, think again.  Things are changing my friend and he who stays up to date on the latest marketing and tech trends will be king.  For those of you who have no idea how to go about starting a company but have a tingle deep inside that is telling you corporate life sucks, this site just may be the first step to helping you realize your dreams.

The future of business is not about what color suit you wear or when your next annual evaluation is.  It’s not about attending meetings after meetings to talk about how the meetings went.  What it is about is finding what you are passionate about in life, and figuring out how you can use that passion to add value.  Sure it is hard as hell to start a company.  But ask yourself this very simple question: will you be more satisfied with yourself in a world of corporate pawns and rush hour traffic, or will you be more satisfied working your ass off to accomplish something you are proud of and that you can call your own?  Start connecting to people through blogs like this one, and let the entrepreneurial community help you take the plunge into self-actualization.
